Production Team Leader

In a dynamic and fast-paced food manufacturing environment, we seek an experienced leader to drive excellence, ensure food safety and quality, and inspire their team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive production efficiency, productivity, and innovation by coaching and developing the production team to achieve consistent, safe, and high-quality food products.
  • Oversee day-to-day production operations, including task allocation, training, and workflow management, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and uphold workplace safety, hygiene, and quality standards through effective risk management and quality control measures.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and process flows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness, and implement strategic solutions to address any challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, enhance performance, and ensure reliable operations, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing leadership roles, preferably with a track record of driving transformational change and achieving significant improvements in operational efficiency and quality.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, food safety regulations, and occupational health and safety (OH&S) guidelines, with the ability to apply this expertise effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and communicate clearly with diverse teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and open communication.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and make informed decisions under pressure.
