Concept Beverages is a fast-growing beverage manufacturer. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team and oversee day-to-day operations.
We're seeking a motivated and passionate Production Manager who can lead by example, build strong team camaraderie, and consistently deliver results. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring production goals are met with efficiency, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of beverage manufacturing, strong organisational skills, and a people-first leadership style that inspires high performance and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production schedules to meet volume and quality targets.
- Lead and develop your team by coaching, training, and supporting multiskilling initiatives. Manage attendance and assist with recruitment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives across production lines.
- Manage inventory of raw materials, packaging, and production supplies in coordination with procurement.
- Maintain production equipment and coordinate with maintenance for preventive and corrective actions.
- Enforce safety protocols and cultivate a culture of safety and accountability on the production floor.
- Prepare regular reports on production output, efficiency, and downtime.
- Support our CFO on budget planning and cost control initiatives to maximize operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in beverage or food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and quality systems in beverage manufacturing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite; Unleashed software experience is a plus but not essential.
