Structural Engineers Role

We are recruiting experienced Senior/Lead Structural Engineers to join our Brisbane team of technical experts to support our growth and deliver significant base metals projects.

The Key Responsibilities
  • Providing structural analysis and design for foundation, concrete and steel structures.
  • Preparing, reviewing and checking engineering calculations, technical specifications and scopes of work.
  • Collaborating closely with clients throughout the project lifecycle to deliver value within project performance criteria.
  • Coaching and mentoring engineers and draftspersons through practical guidance during the design and commissioning phases of projects.
  • Ensuring technical solutions delivered during study and design phases comply with design review processes and design quality requirements.
  • Monitoring the progress and performance of project design teams and providing input, feedback and support where necessary.
Required Expertise
  • Qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years post graduate experience in structural design, particularly in steel and concrete structures for mineral processing plants and/or related industries.
  • Proven experience managing client interaction on design and drafting issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional knowledge of engineering designs and calculations.
  • Solid work experience with engineering consultancies specializing in minerals processing.
