Senior Structural Engineer Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Structural Engineer. We are looking for an experienced professional to assist in delivering cost-effective structural engineering designs from conceptual design to detailed design, tender and construction.

Job Description:

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for performing analysis and design of steel structures and concrete foundations. You will also prepare specifications, design criteria, scope of work and material take-offs. In addition, you will work with designers and other engineers on the project team to deliver on project requirements as they relate to scope, quantities, cost, and schedule.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality structural engineering designs that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bid documents.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Perform site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering.
  • CPEng or working towards CPEng.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Previous experience working on EPC/EPCM projects in heavy industrial environments.
