Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Care Professional to support children and young people in residential care settings. This role is a vital part of our team, focusing on providing high-quality care and supervision to young individuals.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct care and supervision to young people in a residential setting.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Assist with daily activities, promote self-care, education, and recreational activities.
  • Promote a safe and positive living environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Build trusting relationships with young people, offering emotional support and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of young people's progress.

Requirements
  • Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check or being willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings, and sleepovers).
  • Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle for transporting young people as required.
  • Attained or working towards a relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Certificate IV (Community Services, Youth/Social Work, etc.).
  • Experience working with young people and/or children.
  • Experience working in other support work-related fields, such as disability, mental health, aged care, and childcare.
