About the Job

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Community Support Worker to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Support. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with their daily needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive, flexible, and responsive support to clients to help them achieve their goals and improve their physical and mental health.
  • Develop connections with the community and assist clients in achieving their goals.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, domestic assistance, social support, transport, and community outings.
  • Be willing to do both Support Work and Assistant in Nursing.
  • Be willing to be on-call and travel to different areas.
Requirements
  • A current full driver's license and own car.
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • Working With Children Check.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW).
  • A current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Experience in Manual Handling, bowel care, and challenging behaviors and other high-care skills.
  • Previous experience in Disability Support or Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
