With a brilliant team across Sunshine Coast, Greater Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast, we are there to help our Participants to achieve their goals to live a fulfilling life. **About the Role**

The current positions offered are open to both male and female support workers who meet all criteria.

You’ll ensure optimal comfort for our care recipient by assisting with activities of daily living and other care as determined by the needs and the care plans of the participant we support.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Community access: shopping, medal appointment, visitation and social outing
- Prompt assistance for medication, meal preparation, PEG feeding and light domestic duties
- Personal Care: Showering, toileting, hygiene
- Supporting participant who uses aid, this may include wheelchairs or hoists.

**About You**

You are friendly and reliable with a good work ethic. You pride yourself on providing personal care with dignity and respect. You are patience and confident to assist participants with mental health and behaviour of concern. You understand the importance of providing individualised support within a home environment. You have the passion for the role and able to perform duty of care at all times.

**Shifts available: Mon - Sunday 9am - 4pm**

**Your skills and experience include**:

- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Experience in BOC, mental health, positive behaviour, intellectual disability
- Able to communicate and assist non-verbal client.
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Must have a QLD driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
