We are seeking a skilled Planner to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of strategic and detailed planning services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

You will be responsible for applying technical knowledge in hydraulic modelling and GIS platforms to assist project delivery under limited supervision. You will also support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships through technical excellence and collaboration.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from delivering specific parts of water and wastewater infrastructure planning projects with minimal guidance to checking and ensuring the quality and accuracy of their work and providing guidance to junior team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications">

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering (civil, environmental, or related field) and experience in water/wastewater planning.

Proficiency in hydraulic modelling tools (e.g., InfoWorks, EPANet) and GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, Mapinfo) is essential. Strong communication skills, able to engage with diverse stakeholders and contribute effectively in teams, are also required.

Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and meeting deadlines is crucial. A proactive, professional attitude with a willingness to learn, take ownership, and support team development is also necessary.
