About the Role

We're looking for someone who will utilize BOARD software to optimize financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. As our Finance Analyst, you'll work closely with cross-functional departments to collect, analyze, and present financial data to support strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer behavior, segments, and lifetime customer value to provide store profitability results, including foot traffic and targeting for review and action by Retail Leaders.
  • Provide structured monthly flash and management reporting that empowers business leaders to make informed decisions and adhere to budget in a timely manner.
  • Offer ad-hoc reporting and resolve queries from the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.
  • Support Board Meetings preparation with reports and communication as required.
  • Provide valuable insights into the business using systems skills and knowledge.
  • Understand financial trends and variances, offering concise commentary on the financial performance and associated business drivers.
  • Maintain data integrity.
  • Identify areas of potential risk, underperformance, and opportunities for improvement, working with stakeholders to mitigate or promote these.
  • Analyze the Profit and Loss Statement to ensure accuracy in data.
  • Pursue data-driven insights to enhance business performance.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to grasp how each department functions and contributes to the overall business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A CPA, CFA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with BOARD software.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, data analysis, and accounting standards.
  • Proficient in data visualization and presenting complex financial information in an understandable manner.
  • Previous experience in retail is beneficial.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and experience with other FP&A tools are desired.
  • A proven track record of improving processes and delivering against deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems and make quality decisions.
  • Effective management of competing priorities.
