About the Role

Australian Healthcare Associates (AHA) is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Aged Care Funding Specialist. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in assessing residents in residential aged care facilities using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment tool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care homes in the Metropolitan South aged care planning region (ACPR)
  • Travel within the Metropolitan South ACPR with potential for overnight stays for more remote facilities
  • Provide comprehensive training and support to ensure successful implementation of the AN-ACC assessment tool

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a RN, Physio or OT in the aged care sector
  • Current, general, unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Valid driver's license and reliable car
  • Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing environment or circumstances
  • Willingness to travel to regional/remote facilities
  • Able to work unsupervised within a diverse and widely located team
  • Meet all Department of Health and Aged Care Vaccination requirements

What We Offer:

  • Highly attractive salary – $104,550 salary p.a % super (FTE)
  • Permanent FT/PT position
  • Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
  • Full training provided in the use and application of the new assessment tool
  • All technical equipment including laptop and phone
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses
