About the Opportunity

Bethsalem Care is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team in providing high-quality care to residents. As a key member of the care team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional clinical care, leading a team of nursing and care staff, and identifying and responding to the changing care needs of residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver resident-focused and exceptional quality clinical care that optimizes resident health and well-being.
  • Lead a team of committed nursing and care staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Identify and respond to the changing care needs of residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of care delivery that supports funding requirements.
  • Develop, implement, review, and update resident care plans in consultation with residents, families, and other care team members.
  • Take responsibility for medication management that is safe and compliant with best-practice and all relevant obligations.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and committed Registered Nurse who has a genuine interest in caring for people navigating the ageing process. You will have:

  • Current, unrestricted Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • NDIS clearance.
  • Completed the National Hand Hygiene Initiative (NHHI) training.
  • Leadership capabilities.
  • An understanding of (or commitment to learn) the Aged Care Standards.
  • A willingness to understand the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC).
  • Well-developed computer skills.
  • Robust organization and time management skills.
  • The ability to multitask in a busy and fulfilling environment.
