Bethsalem Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their team in providing high-quality care to residents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional clinical care, leading a team of nursing and care staff, and ensuring the changing care needs of residents are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver resident-focused and exceptional quality clinical care that optimizes resident health and well-being.
- Lead a team of committed nursing and care staff to provide a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Identify and respond to the changing care needs of residents, ensuring their individualized care plans are up-to-date and effective.
- Ensure accurate and compliant documentation of care delivery, meeting funding requirements.
- Develop, implement, review, and update resident care plans in consultation with residents, families, and care team members.
- Take responsibility for safe and compliant medication management, adhering to best-practice and regulatory obligations.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a passion for caring for people navigating the aging process and a commitment to a fulfilling career in aged care nursing.
You will have:
- Current, unrestricted Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- NDIS clearance.
- Completed the National Hand Hygiene Initiative (NHHI) training.
- Leadership capabilities.
- An understanding of (or commitment to learn) the Aged Care Standards.
- A willingness to understand the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC).
- Well-developed computer skills.
- Robust organization and time management skills.
- The ability to multitask in a busy and fulfilling environment.
