Job Title

Library Information & Programs Officer - Tenterfield Shire Council is seeking a Library Information & Programs Officer to join our dedicated team in the beautiful New England region of NSW.

This role involves supporting daily library operations while leading community programs for children, youth, seniors, and lifelong learners.

About the Role
  • Delivering engaging programs and activities across all age groups
  • Providing outstanding customer service and library support
  • Assisting with circulation, cataloguing, and resource management
  • Supporting outreach services, including branch and home deliveries
  • Contributing to funding applications and program reporting

Key responsibilities include:

The successful candidate will have experience in a library or community-focused environment, hold a Certificate IV in Library & Information Services (or be willing to obtain), and possess a NSW Working with Children Check and a NSW Class C Driver's Licence.

A highly regarded skillset includes experience with Libero LMS, program design and delivery, and stakeholder engagement across diverse communities.
