Project Manager Position

As a skilled project manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing various projects from start to finish. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the successful delivery of these projects while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage project lifecycle from commencement to completion
  • Deliver exceptional stakeholder management to mitigate potential risks
  • Prepare contract documentation including specifications and other necessary items
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders through clear and concise communication
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting change activities and collaborating with colleagues
  • Monitor and report on work progress against plans and budgets
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification in project management or a related field, as well as several years of demonstrated experience in capital project management. Additionally, you will need to possess:

  • Experience in project management within construction or recreation facilities
  • Strong decision-making skills within a project context
  • A good understanding of the construction industry and local government
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated people skills to support, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders
  • A current Victorian driver's license
  • Preferred candidates will undergo a National Police Check funded by the City
  • Current Working with Children Card (employee)
