Life Enrichment Officer

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Life Enrichment Officer to join our team. As a Life Enrichment Officer, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering individualized leisure and lifestyle programs that cater to the social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, physical, and cognitive needs and abilities of our residents.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake resident assessments and complete associated documentation to ensure accurate and personalized care plans.
  • Create and implement engaging leisure and lifestyle programs that promote maximum independence, friendships, and community participation among residents.
  • Facilitate outings and bus trips, ensuring seamless execution and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain regular program evaluations to guarantee quality and effectiveness.
  • Actively seek resident feedback and incorporate suggestions into continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support the Leisure and Lifestyle Department to meet accreditation requirements and uphold high standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle qualifications (or working towards this).
  • Passion for delivering exceptional care that makes a positive impact on residents' lives.
  • Eagerness to grow and develop your career in aged care.
  • Relevant experience in aged care (desired).
  • Excellent customer service and resident relations skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills, with a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
  • Able to provide evidence of COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
