Job Title: Life Enrichment Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our team as a Life Enrichment Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by developing and implementing engaging leisure programs that promote social interaction, emotional well-being, and a sense of community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care plan development and capturing the unique stories and personal preferences of residents to create tailored activity plans
  • Collaborating with families, volunteers, and clinical staff to mentor and provide guidance when facilitating leisure activities and encouraging meaningful interaction

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with seniors and promoting their overall well-being
  • Excellent program development and facilitation skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Outstanding people person skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Strong documentation and experience using computerized care management systems (desirable)
  • A Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent qualification (desirable) or a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar
