Job Title:

Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the General Manager with regional operational, financial, and performance outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver quarry development plans for long-term sustainability.
  • Lead and manage improvement projects to drive consistency and operational excellence.
  • Oversee quarrying assets and capital investment planning in collaboration with the Asset Manager.
  • Ensure safe, compliant, reliable, and optimized assets.
  • Provide support and expertise to Quarry Managers and Supervisors to optimize performance.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, community groups, government, and industry associations.

The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in business, management, engineering, or a related discipline, as well as a minimum of five years' experience in Quarry Management and/or Operations. They should demonstrate proven leadership skills, commercial and business acumen, and a commitment to driving operational improvements and achieving results. Additionally, they must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills, and be flexible and willing to travel extensively to multiple quarry sites.
