Next-Generation Blast Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Next-Generation Blast Design Engineer to join our Digital Solutions team.

Job Description:

As a key member of our Digital Solutions team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced algorithms for next-generation 3D blast design tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers in the mining industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in C# or similar programming languages
  • Experience with large 3D datasets and spatial algorithm development
  • Understanding of 3D rendering fundamentals and low-level graphics APIs such as OpenGL, DirectX, or Vulkan
  • User interface and workflow design experience, with a focus on usability and performance
  • Ability to write high-performance algorithms for computationally intensive tasks
  • Proven success in cross-functional team environments, delivering robust and high-quality software
  • Experience developing mining software or working within mining-related domains
  • Basic knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Familiarity with 3D modelling or CAD tools, such as Blender, AutoCAD, or similar platforms
