Claims Consultant General Liability

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Consultant to join our General Liability team. As a Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of General Liability claims from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret public liability and professional indemnity policy wordings and apply accurately
- Provide advice to insured clients on indemnity, liability, quantum, reserving, and settlement
- Liaise with third-party providers, including solicitors, loss adjusters, brokers, and barristers
- Settle claims within client service instructions, company guidelines, and delegated authority
- Resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines and identify potential fraud/recovery indicators for claims
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of Claims experience in public liability and/or professional indemnity claims management. Industry-specific ANZIIF qualifications are desirable, and you should have a strong exposure to claims involving Third Party Liability.
You will be a flexible and adaptable individual with excellent customer service, communication, time management, organisation, and interpersonal skills. PC literacy, including database and Microsoft Office skills, is also essential.
