Freight Forwarding Branch Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freight Forwarding Branch Manager to lead our Melbourne branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding, international trade, and customs.

  • The role involves overseeing day-to-day activities, managing branch financial performance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards, and mentoring a high-performing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction, fostering strong client relationships, and developing strategies for growth. They will also be expected to oversee import/export processes, manage ocean, air, truckload, and customs logistics, and ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.

We require an individual with exceptional leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities, as well as a solid understanding of industry compliance standards. A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is essential, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant leadership experience.
