Site Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Manager to lead our operational success, drive high-performing teams and deliver exceptional results for our valued customers.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, as well as proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office. The ideal candidate will have proven operations management experience in 3PL logistics or supply chain, and a tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain, or business would be an advantage.

  • Lead and develop high-performing operations teams by creating a culture of continuous improvement, safety and compliance.
  • Oversee warehouse operations ensuring Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance and customer excellence through efficient processes and effective resource allocation.
  • Drive performance improvements through data analysis and strategic implementation of best practices, resulting in cost savings and increased productivity.
  • Manage resources and logistics to optimize costs and exceed expectations by leveraging technology and innovation.

The successful candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and making informed decisions quickly. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop their team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead high-performing operations teams, create a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the development of team members.
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee warehouse operations to ensure SLA compliance, customer excellence, and efficient processes.
  • Performance Improvement: Drive performance improvements through data analysis and strategic implementation of best practices.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources and logistics to optimize costs and exceed expectations.
Requirements:
  • Proven operations management experience in 3PL logistics or supply chain.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office.
  • Tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain, or business (preferred).
