About the role
We seek a dynamic and detail-oriented Railway Training Programme Manager to join the ETCS project within the Major Projects Integration team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will oversee the training compliance of the project on a 2-year fixed term contract, with potential extension.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive Training Strategy Plan
• Designing and conducting training programmes as required
• Monitoring training compliance and providing regular progress reports
• Coordinating the accreditation of relevant training programmes and recognition of qualifications
• Collaborating in developing training programmes that focus on project deliverables and identifying skills gaps
Requirements and qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Training Coordinator or similar role in transportation or related industries
- A high level of skill in oral and written communication
- Extensive knowledge of train operations environments and safety-related governance
- A high level of skill in researching, developing, and writing operational Safety documentation
