Leader of Event Operations

This position focuses on driving operational excellence, innovation, and professionalism within the Operations team. The Event Operations Manager will lead our high-performing team in delivering a diverse range of sport and entertainment events at Melbourne & Olympic Park.
The role has an essential people leadership element, empowering and supporting the growth and development of the Operations team. You will work closely with the Venue Manager on strategic projects to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their strategic vision and provide compliant guidance on event planning and delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Lead back-of-house operations for events like concerts and sports games.
Requirements:
- Hands-on leadership skills to motivate and guide the Operations team.
- Deep expertise in event operations planning and delivery.
- Safety-focused, curious, and committed to improving processes and systems efficiency.
