Transformative Caregiver Role

This is a unique opportunity to care for a child or young person aged 7-17 in your own home for around 9 months.

You will be part of a short-term treatment foster care team and will be closely supervised and guided by the care team, which includes a therapist, skills coach, teacher and supervisor.

Your key responsibilities include providing positive reinforcement for the child or young person, following an exact program of care, and passing on basic life skills.

As a transformative caregiver, you will have the chance to make a real difference in a young person's life, helping to sculpt a successful path for a child who needs a structured and therapeutic environment.

Comprehensive initial and ongoing training and guidance, as well as 24/7 on-call support, daily phone calls, and weekly caregiver support meetings are available.

About You

You are a Permanent Resident of Australia from diverse backgrounds. A good support network and sense of humour are essential.
