Job Title: Clinical Support Nurse
">">About the Role:

- The Practice Development Nurse - Specialist is responsible for supporting the professional development of all permanent and program staff across our clinical settings.">
- Their primary role is to ensure best practice by providing ongoing education and support for all staff with particular focus on the advancement of knowledge, skills and training with relevance to the clinical setting.">
- This will be achieved by implementing clinically based education using the principles of Evidenced Based Practice to improve the delivery of nursing care.">
Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate the development of nursing staff through targeted education programs and clinical support, including graduate, postgraduate, and specialty practice pathways.">
- Work closely with NUMs, E&L Coordinators, Managers, educators, preceptors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality learning experience across allocated clinical area.">
Requirements:
">- ">
- Current Nursing Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.">
- Degree in General Nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery board of Australia.">
- Postgraduate Qualifications in relevant nursing speciality, preferably a Masters in Advanced Nursing (or working towards).">
- Postgraduate qualification in Education, Clinical Supervision or similar (or working towards).">
- Minimum 5 years nursing experience.">
- Experience in clinical teaching, clinical supervision, or implementation and facilitation of educational programs.">
- High-level learning and development facilitation experience and presentation skills.">
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.">
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines.">
- Competent computer skills including; PowerPoint, excel, word.">
