Senior Cost Manager

Our organisation seeks a skilled Senior Cost Manager to lead MEP services delivery from feasibility cost planning through to agreement of final account. This role requires strong experience in cost management, quantity surveying and construction management.

This position demands a degree qualification in one of these fields along with MRICS/AIQS accreditation.

The ideal candidate will lead bid opportunities, manage and develop the team while collaborating closely with our regional Director to grow MEP cost management opportunities.

Key responsibilities include estimating and cost planning, handling post-contract cost variances and managing change control processes.

  • Lead the team in delivering MEP services throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and develop the team for efficient delivery of MEP services.
  • Guide MEP bid opportunities effectively.
  • Collaborate with our Queensland Director to expand our MEP cost management offerings.
  • Assist on feasibility studies and author procurement reports.

Qualifications:

  • A recognised Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.
  • MRICS / AIQS accreditation or equivalent is highly desired.
  • Relevant work experience, preferably in a consultancy environment.
  • Excellent understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems.
  • Experience in the cost management sector.
  • Proficiency in using CostX software.
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Team player capable of working independently.
