Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic leader to shape our regional automation and robotics strategy, driving technical excellence and innovation.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver cutting-edge solutions, presenting to C-level executives, and supporting business transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute a regional automation and robotics strategy, aligning with the company's ambitious Shaping the Future 2030 initiative.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to strengthen delivery, share assets, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and position the company for future proof-of-concept centers, securing funding and grants through partnerships with universities, industry, and government.
Business Model Transformation & Partnerships:
  • Support senior management in achieving regional sales and profit targets by co-developing customer solutions and engaging with boardroom/C-level stakeholders.
  • Drive sustainable business models leveraging proof-of-concept capabilities and expand engineering and service businesses.
  • Build alliances with industry leaders, OEMs, system integrators, and universities to accelerate growth opportunities.
Regional Leadership & Delivery:
  • Mentor and guide regional engineers, ensuring structured processes, high-quality delivery, and adherence to safety and business best practices.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources across engineering and service teams to optimize outcomes.
  • Represent the company at executive forums, trade shows, and industry seminars to strengthen market presence and influence.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Engineering Degree with at least 8+ years' experience in automation, robotics, or industrial solutions, including project management.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams, take ownership of results, and drive change with resilience.
  • Business Acumen: Skilled in developing compelling proposals, securing funding or grants, and shaping innovative business models.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication skills with a track record of building partnerships with industry leaders, government, universities, and internal teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of automation and robotics technologies (PLCs, SCADA, robotics, Industry 4.0) with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
