This role plays a pivotal part in the efficient scheduling and execution of transport orders, ensuring customer expectations are met and compliance standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full transportation lifecycle from order receipt to delivery confirmation
  • Optimise loads, routes and capacity using internal TMS systems
  • Allocate orders to compliant carriers and ensure adherence to operational procedures
  • Monitor and manage exceptions to minimise service risks and delivery delays
  • Maintain accurate master data and ensure all records are current within the system
  • Liaise with both carrier and customer operational teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Conduct safety and compliance checks in line with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) standards
  • Support business continuity planning and participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
  • Strong background in transport operations, freight scheduling or logistics coordination
  • Proficiency with transport management systems and optimisation tools
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage fluctuating workloads and maintain composure under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Sound judgment and analytical thinking when making operational decisions
  • Understanding of Australian road transport regulations and compliance practices
