Operations Logistics Coordinator

This role involves close collaboration with senior logistics managers to ensure seamless warehouse operations, encompassing inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, and project coordination.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of open orders and projected shipments from various locations, providing critical insights to inform logistics decisions.
- Liaise with vendors to receive accurate and timely information on shipments and receipt processing.
- Create prioritized lists for logistics activities based on product demand analysis and market trends.
- Closely monitor the integration between DTR systems and warehouse management software to optimize data synchronization.
- Communicate priority instructions to logistics teams in case of discrepancies between forecasted and actual quantities.
- Regularly review DC cycle count schedules and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement strategies to monitor high-value products and optimize storage arrangements according to organizational guidelines.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
- Educate logistics staff on proper handling and storage procedures to prevent damage to products.
- Assume ownership of the logistics issue log to track progress on outstanding issues and implement process improvements.
