We are excited to bring to market a great opportunity for a Senior Level 3 Engineer to join a Sydney based managed services provider (MSP). Our client is a dynamic and supportive team with a culture of ongoing career growth and improvement.

About the Role

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be working across a broad client base, servicing start-up through to medium sized corporate businesses across Sydney. You will primarily be working with the Projects Team to deliver projects including migrations, relocations, networking, implementations and upgrades.

About You

We are looking for someone with 5+ years experience in technical support and at least 1-2 years as a Senior Level 3 Engineer. You should have an advanced technical understanding of IT products and services, particularly the Microsoft stack including Windows Server, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Exchange Server and managing virtual environments. You should also have strong networking experience across switches, routers and firewalls and a good understanding of VLANs and WIFI.

Key Skills

  • 5+ years experience in technical support, 1-2 years as a Senior Level 3 Engineer
  • Previous experience working in an MSP environment in a projects role
  • Strong understanding of IT products and services, particularly Microsoft and cloud services
  • Previous experience as an escalation point for level 2
  • Strong systems support experience including Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft Intune, Office 365, Azure Active Directory and managing virtual environments
  • Networking experience across switches, routers and firewalls
  • Good understanding of VLANs and WIFI and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with ticketing systems
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and work in a fast paced environment
  • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders and client relationships
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
