We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with program management within the Compliance branch, including audit programs and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing advice and support on audit and assurance policy, strategy and education matters.
- Preparing complex reports and briefs to senior management and agency committees.
- Synthesising complex information and preparing clear written guidance for internal and external stakeholders.
- Interpreting and applying legislation and guidance.
- Monitoring progress and delivering quality outcomes.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with agency staff and counterparts in other agencies.
- Supervising team members and conducting quality assurance activities.
- Analysing audit data and translating it into reports.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Experience in audit and assurance, with a working knowledge of Commonwealth procurement.
Work Environment:
Full-time position in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
