Collections Team Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Collections Specialist to lead a high-performing team in our Payments and Hardship Management department.

As a Collections Team Lead, you will assist the Payments and Hardship Manager in developing a small team of Collections Specialists towards achieving collection revenue targets. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with collections processes, policies, and manuals;
  • Managing external collections partners and collecting relevant documentation;
  • Maximizing collection process performance and promoting payment delinquency prevention;
  • Handling customer payment difficulties in a sensitive and tactful manner;
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records for interactions, contact details, collections work, and other activities related to customer management;
  • Suggesting system or process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Presenting weekly collections data via regular reports;
  • Managing partner relationships, including collection agencies and outsourced reminder partners;
  • Assisting with the launch of new collection projects and training, mentoring, and managing team members;
  • Allocating tasks and duties efficiently to meet monthly regularization/efficiency targets;
