Job Title:

Systems Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced ICT Systems Manager to lead the sustainment and optimisation of deployable ICT systems for a Land project based in Canberra.

The successful candidate will manage the sustainment of geospatial and intelligence systems within budget and capability targets, providing expert technical and policy advice across capability sustainment and strategic planning.

Liaising with operational stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and systems remain mission ready, the ICT Systems Manager will represent the Commonwealth in system testing and support engineering authority processes.

This is a key opportunity for an experienced ICT professional to play a critical role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.

Requirements:
  • Manage the sustainment of geospatial and intelligence systems within budget and capability targets.
  • Lead product management activities including configuration, accreditation, procurement, and contract oversight.
  • Provide expert technical and policy advice across capability sustainment and strategic planning.
  • Liaise with operational stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and systems remain mission ready.
  • Represent the Commonwealth in system testing and support engineering authority processes.
Qualifications:
  • Currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
  • In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may be an inherent requirement.
