Strategic ICT Transition Leader
A government agency is transitioning its ICT services from an internal model to a shared services arrangement with another department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading this transition and providing strategic support to the in-house ICT team.
This high-impact role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery capabilities within a Federal Government context.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with agency goals and objectives.
- Lead the transition of ICT services ensuring continuity, value for money, and fit-for-purpose outcomes.
- Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders and senior leadership on ICT matters.
- Collaborate across business units to understand and deliver on technology needs.
- Build and manage relationships between departments including contract negotiation.
- Oversee ICT operations including team leadership budget oversight and resource management.
- Ensure system security reliability and risk mitigation strategies are in place.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Minimum Australian Citizenship.
- Active NV1 Clearance.
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Onsite working arrangements.
