Role Overview
The Graduate Systems Analyst role at Dennis Family Corporation involves providing support and contributing to the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT applications within the Applications team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in analysing user requirements and translating them into technical specifications for IT applications.
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions under the guidance of senior IT professionals.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging technologies, trends, and best practices relevant to application development and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment with project objectives and requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, addressing application issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Assist in documenting technical specifications, system configurations, and software components to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
About You
- Solid understanding of software applications (both SAAS and on-prem).
- Familiarity of development frameworks, programming languages, database management and operating systems.
- Experience working on IT-related projects and hands-on experience in application development, testing, and support, highly regarded but not essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with the ability to analyse user requirements, identify root causes of issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Experience collaborating in team-based environments and working on cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Construction experience and familiarity with ClickHome, Databuild, Autech and ArchiCAD highly regarded.
