Job Overview

The Graduate Systems Analyst role at Dennis Family Corporation offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development and maintenance of IT applications. As a key member of our Applications team, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and supporting software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Requirements Analysis: Assist in analysing user requirements and translating them into technical specifications for IT applications.
  • Software Development and Testing: Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions under the guidance of senior IT professionals.
  • Tech Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging technologies, trends, and best practices relevant to application development and support.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment with project objectives and requirements.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, addressing application issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Documentation: Assist in documenting technical specifications, system configurations, and software components to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.

About You

  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of software applications (both SAAS and on-prem), familiarity of development frameworks, programming languages, database management, and operating systems.
  • Experience: Experience working on IT-related projects and hands-on experience in application development, testing, and support is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with the ability to analyse user requirements, identify root causes of issues, and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Experience collaborating in team-based environments and working on cross-functional teams.
  • Construction Expertise: Familiarity with Construction experience and familiarity with ClickHome, Databuild, Autech, and ArchiCAD is highly regarded.
