**Job Summary**

Traverse Alpine Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals that exceed our guests' expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist with the planning and creation of menus to ensure a diverse and appealing dining experience
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation
  • Ensure the highest levels of food quality, presentation, and taste
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels and food wastage to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a positive and productive kitchen culture
  • Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu items to stay ahead of culinary trends
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless and efficient operation
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with the kitchen team
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and exceed expectations
  • Culinary degree or diploma preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience working in a similar role in an alpine or mountain resort environment is an asset
