Electrical Design Engineer - Brisbane

A challenging opportunity exists for an Electrical Design Engineer within our team based in Brisbane. This role involves collaborating with colleagues to develop electrical designs, creating cost estimates of materials and labour, maintaining accurate records and databases, and participating in project construction.

The ideal candidate will have experience as an Electrical Engineer or Designer, proficiency in bill of quantities preparation, and technical knowledge of Low Voltage and DC power systems. Additionally, the individual should possess competency in MS Office, especially MS Excel for preparing cost estimates and bills of quantities, and be able to interpret CAD drawings.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled professional who can contribute to our team's success. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing electrical systems and infrastructure
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender documents
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer or Designer
  • Technical fluency in Low Voltage and DC power systems
  • Proficiency in bill of quantities preparation
  • Ability to interpret CAD drawings
  • Competency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, OH&S legislation/guidelines, and environmental legislation/licensing
