Electrical Infrastructure Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical works on our infrastructure, including high-voltage installations and large-scale commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and manuals to complete electrical works
  • Problem-solving and reporting in accordance with job and safety requirements
  • Planning tasks and ensuring the necessary equipment and resources are available
  • Maintaining compliance with OHS standards, codes, and project regulations
  • Effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal team members

Requirements:

  • A current unrestricted QLD Electrical Licence
  • A current manual Driver's Licence
  • Previous experience with Energex/Ergon networks is preferred but not essential
  • Familiarity with high-voltage infrastructure, substations, large customer connections or underground/overhead reticulation is ideal but not mandatory
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and proactive attitude
  • Strong understanding of WHS and electrical code compliance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
