Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in infection prevention and control practices
- Develop and implement evidence-based policies and procedures to prevent and control infections
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address infection control risks
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with infection control standards
- Provide education and training to staff on infection control practices
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
- At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience in a relevant field
- Approved post-registration nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Demonstrated high-level computer literacy and effective communication skills
