Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our logistics operations, driving efficiency and safety across our transport network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong relationships with our driver fleet and subcontractors to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers to meet their expectations
  • Implement and monitor safe working practices, adhering to Chain of Responsibility guidelines
  • Schedule vehicles to optimize customer delivery requirements while minimizing costs
  • Continuously review and improve operational processes and procedures to enhance productivity
  • Maintain and repair vehicles and equipment in accordance with established standards
  • Organize safety meetings and support audits to promote compliance and best practice
  • Effectively manage operational expenditure by allocating resources efficiently and reducing labor costs
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Transport/Logistics Management with a proven track record of success
  • Exceptional knowledge of HSE and COR requirements, with a passion for promoting a culture of safety
  • Familiarity with SAP, WMS & TMS systems highly regarded (Ramco experience preferred)
  • Able to inspire and motivate team members to achieve high levels of performance
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving
