Project Engineering Leader

Due to awarded work in commodities, we're seeking an experienced engineering leader to oversee mineral processing projects. This key role will suit an EPCM-experienced engineer with technical leadership and communication skills across diverse stakeholders.

About the Role:

  • Manage engineering aspects of mineral processing projects, including conceptual design, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, providing technical expertise, guidance, and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Be responsible for technical approval and sign-off of the project's engineering and design.
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure positive project outcomes from a technical and schedule perspective.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and deliver customized solutions that meet expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, focusing on health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team, promoting innovation, excellence, and professional development.

About You:

  • A Bachelor's degree, ideally in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Extensive experience with discipline engineering within a mineral processing EPCM environment, with proven experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical expertise in mineral processing principles, technologies, and equipment.
  • Demonstrated success taking ownership of engineering deliverables to support demanding project schedules.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion, focusing on safety, technical quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, effectively managing teams and collaborating with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, emphasizing planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
