Senior Project Engineer Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the challenging role of Senior Project Engineer.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to leverage their technical expertise and management skills to deliver complex engineering projects from conception to completion.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the project, including design and construction services, working closely with technical specialists and stakeholders.
About the Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing technically acceptable engineering designs and construction services for approved projects
  • Collaborating with technical specialists to ensure specification compliance and technical integrity of designs
  • Maintaining accurate records of design information, including documents and data from suppliers and other disciplines
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices across the organization
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant field
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. BSc Eng)
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) – preferred
  • Membership of relevant Engineering Institutions (e.g. Engineers Australia) – preferred

Additional Skills:

  • Good understanding of local and international Codes and Standards
  • Experience working in engineering contracting or consultancy organizations in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals, and Infrastructure / Utilities
