Job Description

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the position of Service Leader. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for providing leadership, practice development, and mentoring sessions to a team of support workers.

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on delivering high-quality care to clients, facilitating and monitoring the integration and coordination of care, and operational management of a team of Residential Support Workers.

This role involves an on-call component and may include weekend and shift work when required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.

We are seeking a qualified professional who has a completed degree or Diploma qualification in a relevant discipline, and a minimum of 1 year's experience leading a team or a Senior Support Worker that has demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching other support workers.

The Service Leader will be responsible for providing high-level service input and advice to our staff and other stakeholders, ensuring high standards of client care at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completed degree or Diploma qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 1 year's experience leading a team or a Senior Support Worker
  • Ability to consult and engage with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience in working within a residential recovery and resilience based model
  • Experience and skills in working with people experiencing mental illness
