Job Details

Seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Professional to join our team in the Specialist Outpatients Department. As an Administrative Support Professional, you will provide efficient booking services for patients and utilize your organisational skills to coordinate bookings, manage waiting lists and schedule appointments.

You will work closely with Consultants and Clinicians to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to consult and negotiate with clients and staff at all levels of the organisation.

As a key member of our team, you will demonstrate a strong ability to work independently with limited supervision and meet deadlines and established work priorities. You will also be able to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide efficient booking services for patients
  • Coordinate bookings, manage waiting lists and schedule appointments
  • Work closely with Consultants and Clinicians to deliver a high-quality service
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and staff
  • Rapidly acquire skills in the use of Clinical Information Systems utilised for booking purposes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to actively participate in a working environment that supports contemporary human resource practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as an individual with limited supervision
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to rapidly acquire skills in the use of Clinical Information Systems
