About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of People and Culture to join our team at SA Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce and driving excellence in human resources services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to our human resources team, driving innovation and excellence in people management.
  • Develop and implement proactive workforce strategies that elevate performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Advise senior management on HR trends, risk management, and complex issues, ensuring our responses are contemporary and effective.
  • Oversee key portfolios, ensuring the consistent application of best practices in people management and preparing our workforce for future changes and growth.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in providing leadership, direction, and expert advice to senior management and executive levels on strategic human resource management matters. You will have experience in leading a team of human resource professionals and indirect HR, industrial, change, or WHS professionals to achieve outcomes that are best for the organization.

You will also have the ability to formulate, investigate, and research complex matters, and prepare recommendations, reports, and submissions. Additionally, you will have experience in facilitating exit strategies and performance misconduct hearings, promoting and fostering positive and beneficial networks and relationships, and interpreting awards, legislation, and policies.
