About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of People and Culture to join our team at SA Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce and driving excellence in human resources services.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of cutting-edge human resources services, driving innovation and excellence in a business partnering framework. Your mission will be to implement proactive workforce strategies that elevate performance, foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, and ensure we meet and exceed our organizational goals.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, direction, and expert advice to senior management and executive levels on strategic human resource management matters.
  • Lead a team of human resource professionals and indirect human resource, industrial, change, or WHS professionals to achieve outcomes that benefit the organization.
  • Formulate, investigate, and research complex matters, and prepare recommendations, reports, and submissions.
  • Foster positive and beneficial networks and relationships, establishing credibility with clients and stakeholders within the public and private sectors.
  • Interpret awards, legislation, and policies, and apply them successfully to deliver and meet business outcomes.
  • Manage complex projects of organization or government significance.
  • Develop and maintain constructive employee association/union relationships and work effectively with these to realize improvements and change requirements.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual who has a proven track record in providing leadership, direction, and expert advice to senior management and executive levels on strategic human resource management matters. You will have a strong background in human resources, with experience in leading a team of human resource professionals and indirect human resource, industrial, change, or WHS professionals.

You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. You will also have a strong understanding of awards, legislation, and policies, and be able to apply them successfully to deliver and meet business outcomes.
