About this Opportunity

This role is focused on cultivating strong, mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers to minimize risk and maximize value for clients.

The ideal candidate will oversee every aspect of the supplier relationship process, ensuring seamless claimant and client service, and consistently meeting external contracted obligations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments, onboard, and train new suppliers.
  • Develop and improve performance management processes to monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with established KPIs, standards, and regulations.
  • Continuously monitor and maintain portfolio service delivery metrics, including time, cost, quality, and customer service.
  • Manage supplier information records and databases effectively.
  • Negotiate agreements and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of products and services that meet client and internal service line requirements.
  • Improve and maintain supply agreements and tender documentation.
  • Develop and manage tender processes to safeguard business interests and comply with relevant statutory requirements.
  • Maintain excellent supplier and customer relationships through the resolution of contractual and supplier disputes.

Your Skills and Qualifications

We seek an individual with a solid understanding of the insurance industry, including the legislative framework, applicable codes, and products.

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are essential, as well as experience and knowledge of property claims – Building, Contents, Landlord, Strata, and Commercial.

A strong analytical, relationship management, and communication skillset is crucial, along with experience and knowledge of Queensland Building and Construction Commission QBCC Home Warranty Insurance and building rectification methods.
