About the Role
">The Townsville Hospital and Health Service is seeking an experienced Diabetes Nurse Educator to provide leadership, support, education, and participate in research within the multidisciplinary team.
">As a key member of the Diabetes and Endocrinology team, you will be responsible for ensuring best practice care within a continuum of care framework.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders">
- Develop and implement patient education programs to improve health outcomes">
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- ">
- A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position">
- Postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field (highly desirable)">
- Credentialed status with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (highly desirable) or willingness to obtain">
- Experience in patient education and support, particularly with insulin pumps, CGM devices, and related software">

- Salary range: $54.44 to $58.30 per hour">
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with loading">
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution">
