About the Role
- The Diabetes Educator role provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning, and coordination skills in the clinical management of pregnant women with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met in the clinical management of women and their families, with diabetes in pregnancy.
- This role works collaboratively within the healthcare team structure (with Diabetes Nurse Practitioner, GDM Navigator, Midwives, MUM, endocrinologist and wider O&G team) and is pivotal in the planning, managing, and delivering of diabetes specialist care.
- Provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education, and research.
